Common questions
What is Lira Pro?
Lira Pro is an optional auto-renewable subscription sold through the App Store as monthly or yearly plans. The price for your region is shown in the app before you confirm. Cancel through Apple: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions. See the Terms of Use.
How do I cancel Lira Pro?
Cancel through Apple: Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → LIRA. You can also use Apple’s subscriptions page. Canceling stops the next renewal; you keep Pro until the current period ends. Uninstalling the app does not cancel the subscription.
How does Sign in with Apple work?
It is optional. Apple signs you in; LIRA stores a display name and avatar in Supabase so the profile can return after a reinstall. Your books stay on the device. You can hide your email with Apple.
How do I change or remove my avatar?
Open Settings in LIRA and edit your profile photo, or remove it. Avatars are stored in Supabase Storage only if you signed in and chose one.
How do I delete my account and data?
Delete books from your library, clear custom Lock Screen details if you set any, and clear transcripts when available. If you signed in, use Settings → Account → Delete account to remove the Supabase profile and avatar. You can also email tumba.miller@gmail.com. Uninstall LIRA to remove remaining on-device app data. Cancel Lira Pro separately through Apple if you subscribed.
Which formats can I import?
Audiobooks: MP3, M4A, M4B, AAC, WAV, CAF. Ebooks: EPUB. MOBI/AZW/PDF are not supported yet.
Where are my books stored?
On your iPhone, inside LIRA’s local library. Sign in with Apple does not upload your books.
Why does transcription download a large file?
Optional read-along transcription uses an on-device speech model. The first run may download about 500 MB over Wi‑Fi.
How do I report a bug?
